Why Choose Commercial Window Cleaning Services?

Many people charged with managing office buildings may not think a lot about commercial window cleaning. However, this is an extremely important part of keeping that building looking its best. If a professional appearance is important, this service must be regularly performed by an expert. Why It Is So ImportantChoosing an expert to maintain the outside of your building is vital because it will not only make it look great, it can also make a business environment more productive. When an office is clean both inside and out, morale, attendance, and productivity can increase substantially. In addition, it enhances curb appeal. When done properly, commercial window cleaning also introduces the maximum amount of natural sunlight. If you regularly work inside for long periods, you know how much of a difference natural light can make versus artificial light. Florescent bulbs serve an important purpose, of course, but they are no substitute for the sun. People want to be able to look outside without their view interrupted by dirt, grime, or streaks of water.Optimal ResultsChoosing a professional to provide this service offers several benefits over relying on employees to take care of this very important job. It would be very unlikely that an untrained person would be able to do the same quality of work as an expert; it takes years of training to provide the best results. This is not the type of job where simply using Windex and some paper towels will suffice. Experts have the equipment, products and experience needed to get the job done right.

Safety is another reason to use commercial window cleaning services. If a person does not have the right equipment, they should never try to perform this kind of task. Reputable professionals know how to properly use protective equipment and are licensed and insured. They also know the types of products to use so that a building is not damaged by many of the harmful airborne substances that can lead to damage.Cost-EffectivenessAs with anything else, the choice between using an employee and a professional comes down to cost. Buying the right materials and equipment can be extremely expensive, and there are also hidden costs, such as employee time, that need to be taken into consideration. In the vast majority of instances, an expert will be able to get the job done in a fraction of the time it would take a novice. A professional will mostly be able to get the work done right the first time.Putting your trust in an expert who will provide the best commercial window cleaning services possible will be well worth your time and money. You won't have to worry about unwanted streaks taking away from the appearance of your office building, and you won't have to take the risk of putting employees in an unfamiliar and dangerous environment.

You Can Have It Your Way

A client of mine said, "I feel like a fraud. Like what right do I have to build a business around my needs and my desires? 'Real businesses' don't get to do that. What right do I have to build a business my way and ignore what everyone else is telling me to do?"What do you think?Does someone have the right to ignore standard convention and build a business the way they want? Can someone simply decide to work three weeks a month or only four days a week? Is it okay for someone to say NO to a certain type of client even if she is more than capable of helping him? Don't you have to play by the rules of "real" businesses? What about those "real" businesses? What rules do they follow?I spent fifteen years working on Wall Street. I worked for the New York Stock Exchange for ten years and Datek Online (a major brokerage firm) for three You would think that both businesses would have similar environments; after all, they were both Wall Street institutions and had to follow the same rules. The New York Stock Exchange was exactly what you'd expect. The buildings were covered in marble from floor to ceiling. Boardrooms were big and imposing. Everyone wore suits and dressed "professionally". There was a clearly defined chain of command. There were rules to follow. There was an image to uphold.Datek Online was another story. I worked there from 1999 until Ameritrade bought it for $1.3 billion dollars in late 2002. At Datek we wore jeans and t-shirts. We had scooters we rode around the perimeter of the floor on rubber mats (like in a playground). Our conference rooms were open and airy. We had toys on our desks and were encouraged to take risks. We had an image to uphold too. The theme of our advertising was The Rules are Changing.

Two "real" businesses, two very different ways of running a business.Think about a local restaurant in your town. Does it serve only organic food? Why or why not? Who made that decision? What about Toms shoes? Did you know that every time they sell a pair of shoes they donate a pair? Do all shoe retailers do that?Do you get it yet?"Real" businesses do get to design how their business works. They get to decide how their employees behave and who their customers are. In fact, the more specific they are, the better their business tends to be. Sure their decisions may anger some people yet, those that agree with them become raving fans.So yes, I believe that you, as a business owner, absolutely do have the right to decide how your business will run and what your business stands for. Here's my wish for you. Stop spending your time and energy worrying about what everyone else is doing or trying to play by their rules. Instead, decide what makes the most sense for you. Go ahead and set your own rules. Then commit to YOUR rules and follow them to the letter. What can you take a stand for today?

Secrets To Stepping Up and Owning Your Big Vision

A couple of weeks ago, I checked the stats and saw an interesting comment from an unsubscriber. She wrote, "I am not sure what I am supposed to get out of this."Maybe she was expecting "7 easy tips to xyz" or "5 simple steps to abc" - then sorry, I am not your gal. I truly believe our business can embody flow and ease... but only if we are willing to sit through the fire and uncover our Truth, and how we choose to express it. There is no free lunch.(By the way, you get what you want to get out of it - we all have different frames of reference. In my world, you are NOT "supposed" to do anything.)True, I do write about my experience often but it's no ego trip - after all, I am sharing with you my own evolution - heartbreaks, tears and sweat - real time.I write about it when the wound is still raw and the emotions are still flowing. I am not sitting pretty on a pedestal and showing off a sterilized version of "how I made 5 figures last month."Every time I sit down to write something so vulnerable, I want to puke.I don't do it just for kicks. My experience may be individual, but the undercurrent of emotions, fears, desires, is not. They are universal. They are human conditions.Unless you are some alien species, these stuff will come up in your life and business in one form or another, as your own individual expression. I am hoping you can relate to my experience, and cultivate the awareness to realize where in your life that these blocks and hurdles are happening too.I am hoping that you can cultivate the awareness, so you can be intentional when choosing your actions, instead of being swept into the "should's" of the world.***In an earlier article, I wrote about discovering a part of me that was holding ME back from stepping up and owning my big ass vision - my next chapter. There was a wall blocking me from seeing it.I realized I have an expectation/disappointment issue. My way of dealing with disappointment has been to walk away. I have been protecting myself from being hurt by "walking away" from flakes and situations that I believed would let me down. It's OK when dealing with other people, but it becomes problematic when I am dealing with myself this way.If I declare my big vision and then default to my "walk away" M.O. then I will really disappoint myself for being a flake... and I can't handle that. It would feel like the ultimate failure.Instead of forcing myself to "visualize" some outcome or reciting some affirmation that I cannot yet fully believe in, I need to first demolish that wall so I can claim every part of this big vision.

***When I "agreed" to release this fearful part of me, I came upon a realization that could possibly crack this whole thing open (I am trembling as I type this... )One early morning as I was half awake, I encountered a part of me that was curled up and dark (think Voldemort in Harry Potter 1.)It was about refusing to trust, receive and accept. It was not confused. It was not fighting or screaming. It was dark, quiet, curled up. A dark crescent shape in my upper chest, wanting attention. This time, instead of avoiding the feelings and distracting myself with busy work, I am going to sit with it, feel it and listen to it so I can finally demolish/desolve the wall and see what's on the other side.***(So let me spell it out... here is what you can get out of this experience of mine... )We have all been hurt, let down, disappointed by others (or even ourselves) in one form or the other. Even though an incidence may seem insignificant when you look back, if you have not addressed the sadness, anger, and emotions fully and completely, it is driving (sabotaging) you subconsciously in some way. When the hurt happened, when the disappointments piled up, we tend to build a wall to protect ourselves. We fence ourselves in, and with that, fence our potentiality and possibilities out.Our Heart got callused, and our Guts got numb. We can no longer FEEL what is right for us, or use our intuition to guide our decisions. We fall into the illusion of safety created by following what other people tell us, so we don't have to walk out of the fence to face our own Truth (and risk getting hurt again.)Dig into that hurt, address it, feel it and let it run its course, so you can melt that fence fully and completely.Ask that part of YOU - what does it need to know to release its grip on you? This is not about doing that website, building that list or giving that workshop. It is about CLAIMING YOUR BIG VISION, LIVING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL and EXPRESSING IT THROUGH YOUR WORK in the world. Are you holding yourself back from claiming your big-ass no-compromise vision because you are afraid of letting yourself down? What do you get to lose if you flunk? Oh boy, you have to once again deal with that itty-bitty-shitty committee in your monkey mind. What do you gain if you make it happen? Everything. You got to claim it, own it, before you can make it happen. You gotta be in it to win it.

The Key to Building Real Value

You hear it all the time - if your price is higher than your competition you're told to "build value." You're instructed to stress the quality, the warranty, the features, etc. But your prospects have heard all that before, haven't they? Want a better way?Let's face it - if services or products are more or less the same, then prospects will buy from the people they like, know or trust. Your enthusiasm and belief for your product or service is a big factor in getting your prospects to place an order with you over your competition. Knowing this, I've often used the following script to not only build value in my product or service, but also to build value in the most important part of my product - myself. Here's what to say:If your prospects says, "I can get cheaper," or "Well the XYZ company has something similar for less money," or anything like that, say:"You know _________ I'm aware of all the other options for this (product or service) and I'll tell you now, if I thought any of them were better for my clients, I'd be working there and selling that."When I got into this industry I did my own research, just like you're doing, and I looked for the company that not only offered the best (product or service) but also delivered the best customer service and follow-up.

After all that, I chose (your company) because they give my clients the best overall value and the best experience. And that means they continue to do business with me and refer new business to me as well.__________, if there was a better product or company for you to be doing business with I'd be there and we'd be talking about that. But there isn't."Bottom line -- if you want the best overall value, results and experience with this (your product or service) then do what I did - choose (your company) - You'll be happy you did. Now, do you want to start with the X size order or would the Y size order be better?"This technique builds value in the most important part of any sales transaction -- you and your belief in your product or service. If you didn't do research, then let the prospect know why you did choose your company and what you like so much about working there and offering that product.Adapt it to fit your personality, product and company, and then get in the habit of using it whenever you feel the need to build more value.Copyright (c) 2014 Mr. Inside Sales

How to Find the Perfect Spot for Your Business Center

A famous catchphrase goes - location, location, location. Although it is closely associated with the real estate sector, it holds good for every other business venture that aims to be successful. But an important question follows right behind. That question is - 'how do you find the perfect location for our business center?' As with most practices, there are some tricks and tips to this trade. Let us take a look into some of them.1. The prevalent rent rates -One of the most obvious factors that must be considered in making a decision about where to open your business center is the rent that will be charges for the premises. Or, if you are planning to buy a space, then the price you have to pay for the same must be considered. While you must not compromise on an attractive location merely because the rates are high, you must also take care to ensure that the rent for your business center is not extravagant when compared with your potential income from the place.2. The pulse of the area -Certain areas are the hub of all business activity, while others are in more remote locations, and ideal for a slower, quieter life. The former areas will make ideal locations for business centers to crop up. The reason behind this is that it is always more comfortable to have all necessary goods and services available at a stone's throw, instead of having them stuffed into some remote area far away. Also, it bodes well for your business to locate it in the heart of a city or a town.

3. Geographical and environmental factors -Certain areas are more prone to natural disasters such as landslides and earthquakes. Common sense dictates that it would not be wise to open a business center is such areas. Therefore, it is necessary to consider geographical and environmental factors before nailing a spot for your center.4. The needs of the people and organizations in the area -These centers offer certain services and products as is the norm. However, before deciding exactly what products and services your business center covers, it is essential that you take a quick survey of the area and understand the requirements of the people living in the place, and the requirements of the organizations that are being run in the locality, so that you can cater to their needs accordingly.

How To Avoid The Doubt Trap

Doubt. Doubting one's self, one's value and one's capabilities. Doubting one's ability to build a sustainable business and live one's ideal lifestyle. Once you get caught in the doubt trap, it creates a tremendous downward spiral and it can be tough to pull yourself out.I hear this a lot from my clients and I, too, can relate because I have been there myself Today I'm sharing with you how you can pull yourself out quickly. Here are 5 ways to pull yourself out of the downward spiral:1. Know that your fear isn't real. It's your ego trying to pull you down and keep you where it feels safe. Growing and changing is threatening to the ego and wants to keep you playing small. It is actually working against you all of the time. It will try to show you situations that will cause you to doubt yourself. In essence, it is giving you a negative way to view what is going on around you. Know it's not real.2. Step into faith. Look at what you have created for yourself in the past. What has gone well? Remind yourself that you can do it again. Universe has a much bigger plan for you, but when you are in fear you won't be able to see it.3. Keep your vibration high. Meaning do whatever you need to do to feel good. Go for a walk, take a hot bath, listen to music or read something inspiring. Whatever it is do it. Don't try to talk yourself out of it. You won't be able to see the solution when you're inside the problem.

4. Shift your focus. Notice that you are focusing on the negative and you need to shift your focus to something more positive. Think about something / someone you really love. Sometimes just thinking about something you are looking forward to will do it. The goal is to shift your state so you can start to see the solution, and this will help you do it.5. Once your state has been shifted, look for the solution. The one thing you never want to say is "I can't do this". That is keeping you in victim mode. Ask instead, "how can I do this?" This is putting you into solution finding mode and is a much more resourceful state. Then stay focused on doing exactly what you come up with. Do not give any fear-based thoughts any attention at all.You can repeat these steps as many times as you like, and they will work every time. We are all unique, so feel free to mix and match to find the best results for you. You can then start creating what it is you are really wanting to create.

Courier Driver Strategies - 3 Realistic Benefits of Competition

A courier driver or a delivery service company that is new in the industry may tend to get paranoid of the competition. However, rethinking what competition can actually do for your business and being proactive about it can actually help you achieve your business goals.Extra WorkFor a courier driver, the benefits of keeping competitors close may not be obvious at first glance. We've been led to believe that the best way to defeat the competition is by cutthroat means, but we live and thrive in a deeply interconnected world, and treating your business rivals as the enemy can only hurt you in the long run. In truth, you need to look deeper under the surface of things to see the wisdom of befriending or at least establishing a good business relationship with your closest competitors. To illustrate, there may be times when one of your competitors cannot accept work offered to them - for instance when a customer needs a certain service that your competitor can't fulfil. Normally, they would just reject the customer and let market forces determine their next choice; however, if you have a relationship with that competitor they may send you the business. That means extra jobs for you, with the competitor acting as your sales agent!Extra EarningsOn the other hand, the same may be true from the other side of the kind of scenario mentioned above. As a courier driver, if there are jobs you cannot fulfil and you know your competitor can do it, you can give them the job provided you get a share of the profit. One caveat, however: if you're sending one of your competitors jobs and you're asking for a slice of their earnings, be realistic. It is not reasonable to ask for a share of the profits that is larger than the share person doing the actual job will get. For good measure, and if you're doing this on a regular basis (especially for regular clients), it is best to have a standing contract that clearly outlines the terms and conditions any time you send work to a competitor.

Marketing StrategiesAny courier driver who spends long hours on the road will most probably have a firm grip on how the competition fares - especially in terms of what they do to secure growth. By closely observing what your identified competitors do to in order get new customers, you will be able to formulate or improve your own marketing strategies - perhaps with distinct improvements that overcome the weaknesses of competing campaigns. The bottom line in the delivery business is that it is not necessary to reinvent the wheel; simply take a discerning look at how others do it, then either match it with an equally brilliant move or an even better one!

Flooring Options for Home and Business

Whether upgrading an existing room or furnishing a new room there are a great many parts of the room to consider. From what color to paint the walls and what materials to use when building them to what type of flooring would be the best option for the room there is a great deal to consider. These options can be especially tricky in a place of business or workplace where the safety is not only an advantage but a regulation mandated by a law or organization.Flooring options are often mandated by such regulations and most require some sort of often non slip type of flooring. Non slip flooring has added benefits that go well beyond simply trying to follow these sorts of regulations. It can make the productivity and smooth operation of the business a reality. It can increase sales and decrease losses due to workers or customers not being injured and taking time out of the work day to tend to such injuries and the mountains of paperwork that go with them. However, finding the right option for what type of floor to use is sometimes a bit tricky and will take some leg work on the part of the business having it installed.Perhaps one of the easiest options out there is to put non slip or anti-skid tape over existing floors. This can be especially important in areas where the floor may become wet or slippery as well as in high traffic areas. Non slip tape comes in a variety of sizes, colors, and widths and can easily be cut down to fit into any area it is needed. It can also be attached to steps or stools to keep anyone using them to keep them from losing their footing. Most types are highly adhesive and effective even in damp environments therefore they are likely to wear off due to traffic instead of peeling off from where it is stuck.Another option for non slip flooring is anti-slip floor coating. This option is available in a few different types. One type is a brush or roll on type that will coat an existing floor with very little change or alteration to the color or look of the existing floor. It is important, however that this coating is applied to a thoroughly dry and clean surface in order for it to properly adhere to the existing floor.

Another option for anti-slip coating is a type that is laid onto a prepared floor surface. This type requires some prep work such as the surface must be dry, clean and free of debris such as flaking or chipping paint. There is sometimes a primer used on floors that are not considered able to be adhered to well, however the floor can be used almost immediately following the application of the anti-slip coating. Some flooring options are naturally slip resistant. Any type of flooring which is even mildly abrasive, such as some types of granite and sometimes paint intended for cement floors can come with an abrasive already in it for the intent of making a floor slip resistant. These options may work well in a home basement or garage, however before relying on them for a business where workers or customers will be present it is advisable to check regulations in the area where they are being utilized.A non slip floor is essential in the safety aspect of both homes and businesses and there are a great many options available to make a floor slip resistant. Homes will depend mostly on personal preferences, however businesses need to confirm they are following all regulations by the organizations that mandate safety aspects as well as ensuring they are doing everything in their power to protect their workers and customers.

How to Find Private Caregiver Jobs

As a caregiver, there are a number of options when it comes to employment. You can choose to work for a company, working in a nursing home or retirement home or you can look for private caregiver jobs, where you work one on one with a patient, getting to know them and caring for their needs. Many caregivers choose the private route, which enables them to build up a strong relationship with their patient, offering them a rewarding career moving forward. Due to the increased costs of assisted living, many families have chosen the in-home care route, which means that with the right credentials, finding a job in this sector of care may be easier than anticipated. The best way to find private caregiver jobs is through word of mouth. Let other caregivers know that you are looking, get the word out. Often this is the most useful and successful way to find a position without delay, reaching the family before they start advertising. You will also want to venture online and search for jobs being advertised. There are also a number of resource sites dedicated to private caregiver jobs, giving you the ability to upload your resume, update your credentials, build your portfolio and appeal to health care agencies looking for the right people to work with their clients moving forward. It's very important that you determine before you start your search whether you're looking for a full time, part time or live in position. Bear in mind that some families will only need someone to care for their loved one for a couple of hours a day, some will require your services on a daily basis, keeping their loved one company while they are at work and then there are those that require round the clock supervision.Whether you choose to live in or live out, flexibility is very important when it comes to private caregiver jobs. While you may be recruited to provide this service from first thing in the morning until late in the afternoon, there may be times when the family decides to go out and needs someone to stay overnight to care for the patient. Being willing and flexible can make a huge difference, ensuring that you remain in the position for the long term and help keep your patient under the best care for the future.

Experience will play a vital role when it comes to the types of private caregiver jobs you can apply for. Some patients will require basic care, such as cooking, cleaning, ensuring they take their medication and keeping them company, while others will require more detailed care which may include bathing, medical supervision, therapy and more. Ensure any private caregiver jobs you look at meet your area of expertise and that you have the qualifications to provide the patient with the highest level of care at all times. There are a number of patients with various needs that are cared for at home by their families. This means that you need to decide what type of patient you want to work with, whether you're looking for a full time or part time private caregiver job. Do you want to work with the elderly, do you want to work with younger patients with learning and physical disabilities or are you looking for a job where you can add value to a patient suffering from Alzheimer's, for example. There are so many reasons why families search for the perfect person to bring into their home, remember it's as much your decision as it is theirs. Ensure you meet the patient and see how you get on with them and their family before making any final decisions.

How The TThanks" In Thanksgiving Increases Your Business

"When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears." Anthony RobbinsI'm going to start this article by making what you might think is a rather strange suggestion: I'd like you to think about making Thanksgiving a daily holiday for yourself -- not just an annual one.Now why would I ask you to do such an odd thing? Because being thankful adds so much richness and fulfillment to our lives - not just our personal lives but also our work lives. You work in a marvelous profession: you get to help people with the largest financial investment they'll likely ever make - one that often offers a lifetime of financial security. How often do you think about how rewarding your career is? I hope daily. I know I'm grateful every day for being able to coach agents and brokers, and take part in this grand, people-serving profession.I also know the benefits of being grateful. Mr. Robbins is absolutely right: fear fades and abundance truly does appear. Researchers have proven it. In one study, those who completed a five-minute-a-day gratitude journal felt healthier, reported more rewarding relationships and positive emotions, and felt better about their careers. When you're healthy, positive and effective at work, you're more productive. Gratitude makes us nicer, more trusting, more social, and more appreciative. The result? More friends, more contacts, more prospects and more business. For you brokers out there, take heed. Studies have shown gratitude makes you a more effective manager by improving your decision making, increasing your empathy, boosting your productivity and helping your mentoring skills. Grateful brokers understand all the work agents do (the National Association of Realtors reports it takes about 300 tasks to sell a house) and as a result, their offices are friendlier and more enjoyable places to be. I've seen this so many times I've lost count.

Good brokers know how to show their appreciation. They understand their agents want and need regular recognition for their skills and hard work. Coincidentally, agents who know they're appreciated are more productive. And what's interesting is that these same agents show their gratitude to their clients. They pay it forward. Then they become even better agents. Believe me; I see it all the time. Those agents have increased sales volume, better service, more repeat business, more professionalism and better morale. It's a domino effect. Grateful brokers lead to grateful agents which lead to grateful clients. And we all know how much better life is when you have happy clients. So how do you become more grateful? What specifically can you do to develop that attitude of gratitude? The experts report it's as easy as taking five minutes at the end of each day to write down a few items you're grateful for.Another exercise is to picture in your mind someone you're grateful for. Then say out loud or in your mind specific reasons why you're grateful for them. Then switch to someone else.Psychologists say that even when things seem bad - say a buyer backs out of a deal - you can reframe the situation with a more positive spin. You might say to yourself, 'Maybe it's good the buyer left, he may not have been happy in the long run and it could be that the next buyer will be a better fit.'It often comes down to what I preach all the time: your attitude determines the altitude of your success.Let me hear from you. Are you thankful daily? How often do you list what you're grateful for? How often do you express your gratitude? Are you expressing your gratitude in effective ways?

Choosing a Manufacturer to Build Your Control Panels

Control panels are becoming increasingly complex as technology gets more sophisticated. As a result, you need to choose a manufacturer that pays close attention to detail and has the experience necessary to provide the exact products you need. How They WorkIn order to be able to choose the right manufacturer, it's important that you know how control panels work in the first place. In a nutshell, these are electronic components that use a microprocessor to manipulate input from sensors. They do so in a way that allows them to communicate with a machine and direct different functions. For example, it may be used to maintain temperature so that a component won't overheat, or it can be used to make sure oil pressure remains manageable. In a generator, for instance, a heat sensor will inform the microprocessor should an excess amount of heat build up within the machine. The microprocessor will then take whatever action is necessary to prevent damage, even if that means shutting down the entire unit.Control panels are often combined with a generator's automatic transfer switch, or ATS, in order to maintain continuity. When the local utility grid fails, the ATS emits a signal that starts the unit in a way similar to turning the keys to start a car engine. As soon as the engine reaches its optimum speed, the ATS disengages the starter and switches the unit to generator power.

A surprising number of professionals believe that it is easy to manufacture these components, and just about anyone in the industry could do it. While there may be several parts of the process that are relatively simple, such as drilling and stripping, the process as a whole is extremely complex.A Commitment to QualityIn order to be successful, a manufacturer has to be extremely precise. Attention to detail is a critical aspect in building control panels, and must be maintained even if that means forcing production to stop. While some may believe this is counter to the idea of being efficient as possible, this actually helps efficiency. Once an issue occurs that brings production to a stop, that forces everyone involved to immediately focus attention on the issue and devise a solution. Only partner with a manufacturer that has a true commitment to quality; this will eventually have a substantial impact on the effectiveness of your own product.Just as you would talk to multiple contractors before choosing one to install an air conditioning system in your home, talk to three or four manufacturers before deciding on the one that will build your control panels. You may think this will take your time and attention away from more pressing matters, but in the long run the extra effort you put forth will be worth it.
